Description

Hopewell Park Trails is a multi-use recreation area located in Danville <br />
<br />
PA. Parking is directly across the road from Sheetz. There are 3 main <br />
<br />
loops for this trail which was officially opened to the public on Sept 6 <br />
<br />
2014 as part of the River Towns Cycling Classic. Built by roughly 10 <br />
<br />
volunteers, these were built in less than 1 month for the Hopewell <br />
<br />
Mountain Bike Challenge. These trails are super flowly, moderately <br />
<br />
hilly, some downhill, banked turns, and start out on an old railroad bed. <br />
<br />
The trails are open for day and night time riding. Please be advised <br />
<br />
that hunting is allowed on these grounds so they are closed on Saturdays <br />
<br />
from the last Saturday in April through the last Saturday in May and <br />
<br />
again on Saturday's from the last Saturday in September through the <br />
<br />
second Saturday in December.
